Lianne La Havas - Forget (Shlohmo Remix)
This is a blog. As such, it demands a certain level of attention that I have been neglecting to give it. Devoid of my original thoughts, musings, ramblings, rants, jokes, verbal debris, and acerbic social commentary, it has wilted. Alas, it lacks the trenchant brand of arrogance and hipster nonsense that only the Internet can bring out of me and my generation. While never once great, it teeters on the edge of becoming Ozymandias-esque ruins of disjointed thought and pop culture references. Given its name, it is ironic that this blog’s author seems to have forgotten The Importance of Being Earnest.
But no longer.
From henceforth, this web log shall receive not the attention it deserves, but the attention it needs right now. So it will take it. Not because it is easy, but because it is right. It is the hero that Tumblr probably does not want, yet secretly thinks about at night when it gets lonely and carnal desires run wild in its mind and it wishes it could say how it felt but that would ruin the magical purgatorial realm where the possibility of mutually reciprocated feelings exists yet the confirmation of them would seemingly break the dreamy spell resigning Tumblr to a pleasant albeit bland feeling of emotional safety whereas rejection would simply leave Tumblr broken in spirit, heart, and mind.
Also because its author loves Batman.
Back to the point. Prepare for a deluge of original mindthoughts. Because there is a storm coming, Mr. Wayne.
“ It’s no longer an empty field, it’s an empty field where she stood. My loneliness is now defined by her not being there. ”

“ To lose one’s life is no great matter; when the time comes I’ll have the courage to lose mine. But what’s intolerable is to see one’s life being drained of meaning, to be told there’s no reason for existing. A man can’t live without some reason for living. ”
